It would be hard for me to pass on one like it but it seems like I do every year.
Maybe I did misjudge this one. It wouldn't be the first time.

I came up with 172"

And here's how
Inside spread- 18"
Mass- 40
Main beams- 42
G-1s- 5
G-2s- 28
G-3s- 18
G-4s- 16
Extras- 5
Total- 172"
Anyone else want to call me out. :-k

This is a discussion forum, right. :))

Ridge,
You nailed it. I always knew you were a pro. :thumb

Great buck! Congrats to the young hunter. Thanks for the sharing the pic.

Even with the head tilted toward the camera, the ears tell the spread and mass.

+1

elkantleraddict, I hope you realize I was just having a little fun. When
I first glanced at the picture, I thought it was 200" buck. Then I looked again and said... 'Wait just a minute, that's a great camera angle".
Anyway, I'm sure we would all be grateful if your friend would share his story about how he got it. :thumb

Ridge your scoring skills are pretty darn impressive. I hope I can attain that skill some day! And congrats to the hunter too! Although the picture makes the buck look bigger than it really is it is still a big buck! And the bladed point adds some awesome character.

Ridgetop I know, and I'll go ahead and post up some more pics and the story, cause I know it all, he's told me like 100 times already. It's hard when I have classes with him not to be told the story.

Definitely some character on that buck. I'd love to have him hanging in the living room. And ridgetop, I'm thoroughly impressed. Never doubted you could score a deer from a picture but good grief, you nailed it.
