Colorado Mule Deer Back From The Taxidermist!
Well, I got my CO buck back from the taxidermist last week and got him put up on the wall. I feel like my 2016 hunt has finally come to a conclusion! Just thought I'd share the photos!

Very nice looking mount! Its always nice months after the hunt when the mount shows up, isn't it?
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

Thank You!!ABert wrote:Very nice looking mount! Its always nice months after the hunt when the mount shows up, isn't it?
YES!! While I'm waiting I always feel like I never had any closure on my hunt. When it comes in it's like I can finally rest easy and know that the hunt is officially over. Sounds weird but that's how I feel.

I know what you mean, believe me!
Worst feeling I had is when my brother picked up one of my mounts about 13 years ago or so and took a picture and sent it to me saying he thought my rack was much bigger. As soon as I saw the pic I told him to call the taxidermist and let him know he gave him the wrong mount. Talk about freaking out!
Needless to say, the taxidermist found who he gave my mount to and got it back. Funny thing is, the other guy didn't remember his rack being that big...

LOL that's hilarious; though I'm sure it wasn't at the time.

That's a great looking buck. I like how symmetrical he is, congratulations!
