Memorial Day Vacations?

Post by ARCHER11 » Mon May 16, 2011 8:08 pm

Hey guys, anyone have any fun plans for memorial Day?

Me and the wife are thinking about doing some camping with a few friends. Anyone have any recommendations for a good campground or BLM land that are open and wont be too cold?

Come on down to St. George!! It's always nice here ;) Sand hollow is a great place to camp if you have kids and want to be by the lake, if you're looking to get out into the sticks, Pine Valley is also great, but may still be a little cold.

The San Rafael Swell fits the description; just don't be near any of the washes; there may be some flooding.

Any recommendations near the Salt lake valley? My family is going to lake Mead but i really don't want to make the 9 hour drive from Rexburg, ID. So, while I would normally be all over St. George or the swell, both awesome areas, its a little far. Any recommendations for Northern UT?
