The Cove
The Cove
Im not sure if anyone is really interested in community ponds but i hit the cove sunday and caught 5 fish in 2 hours and seen a 5 pound Brood stock get caught and released so take the kids there and have a good time
Re: The Cove
Great pic!
I've always said that to get kids interested in fishing you've got to bring them someplace where the can catch fish. They aren't so much concerned about the size of a fish they catch as they are in just catching any fish.

It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

Re: The Cove
I used to bring my grandson to our neighbor's pond. He loved catching the bluegill but not so much the catfish. He said the catfish pulled too hard and he couldn't reel in when they were doing that...
He was only 3 or 4 at the time, I'm sure he'd like it a little more now that he's 7.
