2009 P&Y Convention-Denver

Post by BOHNTR » Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:18 am

Anyone going to the Pope & Young Convention in Denver, CO this year from April 23-26? It looks like an awesome event planned with some new World Records to be unveiled. I'll be there during the event.....if anyone from here goes, let me know.......the first round of diet pepsi is on me! :)

I'll be there, and agree totally with 9er! Mountain Dew or Dr. Pepper, the two finest nectars on Earth!! :thumb

As long as the panel scores confirm for all the entrants, I'm slated for a third place plaque for my 2008 86.0 pronghorn, I'm told!

I was invited to go to bring my '08 archery muley but had to decline the invite. I have way to much going on to go. It sounded fun though!!!

I'll be there for sure, wouldn't miss it. Roy's buying me a beer... at least one. Can't wait. Marvin that's a monster goat to add to your list of monster goats. Congrats. Ed F

Any of you Utah boys making it to Denver? I'll be flying into DIA Thursday morning.......looking forward to seeing world class critters taken with a bow and arrow for a few days. Also can't wait to hear Gary Morris sign Saturday night.......should be fun.

Have fun at the convention Roy, and I bet that concert would be even better if Gary Morris sings instead of signs the whole thing.

Awsome event. The Colorado Bowhunters Association set the bar high. I'm still going through detox!!! The best part of this whole event is the networking. I've met people from all over North America... people who I now consider friends. Can't wait for 2011. Ed F
