Favorite Archery Mule Deer DVD's

Post by 'Ike' » Sun Jun 07, 2009 1:14 am

All time favorite is Buck Fever by Larry Jones, one of the first on Open Country Mule Deer hunting...PSE had one out on Hunting the Fringe also. Now the boys at FMP have a few good ones and Archery Addiction has one. :thumb

My favorite....more than "Buck Fever"......was also produced by Larry D. Jones.......it's "How to hunt mule deer.....in open country"....with Larry, Dave Doran, and Neil Summers. No better instructional video around, IMO. Hand signals, stalking socks, above timberline hunting, how to glass, actual stalks on film, and LOTS of nice bucks.

I talked with Larry for quite some time again at the P&Y Convention........he was telling me that "How to hunt mule deer.....in open country" was and still is his best selling video he's ever produced. Amazing!

I just really like the Up tempo of FMP. Don't think I ENJOY any other video's as much. I also like the dedication to hunting Mule Deer. Didn't mind the turbo goats in the last one either.

Lowland Mulies III is pretty sweet. Determination II is very good also.

I like them all, that said, I like the FMP dvd's due to their archery mule deer tactics.

FMP hands down is the best in my opinion. My favorite of the three movies was 360. The Ride was good but the storie line and acting was cheesy. The proof was good I liked the antelope hunts. I can't wait to see what they do next. Maybe TV show?
New School Archer. Never settle with good. Always looking for something better.
