I would like to buy a muzzleloader but not sure what to buy.I really dont care what the finish is and it has to be legal in washington.Any pointers would be helpful.

I don't know what is legal and what is not in wash. But I love my Knight disc 50 cal.

Utah you can use a 1X for deer and elk.
The Regs for Washington said not sites with glass.
As you can see it varies from state to state.

well washington the primer needs to be EXPOSED no 209 primmers and they classify exposed as to the elliments but you can buy one with bolt are a slide that has a hole in it that is over the primer that makes it exposed and be carefull about the cal. some arnt allowed its probibly not smart to buy off the internet you dont know what your getting and if its legal in washington

Dang! And I was mad that Nevada wouldn't let you put Scopes on. I would rather use 209 primers than have a scope.

Good luck. I just bought a T/C Omega, but it doesn't sound like that is legal in WA.

The Knight Bighorn is legal in Washington. It has interchangeable breech plugs so that you can use #11, musket caps, or 209 primers.

Get a white or a knight i have a white and it's the most accurate gun i've ever shot. if you can find one cuz they stopped making them a few years ago.
