Not a Shed but---

Post by waynedevore » Tue Dec 15, 2009 8:47 am

A cool find anyway.
I came across this Buffalo jump ohh maybe 25 years ago. At that time there were bones and skulls everywhere in the wash.
I went back to the place a couple years ago to find the cliff had caved in covering the wash.
Went back up there in Oct this year.
Pic of the jump the way it looks now.
Ain't no paths to this place.

This is a large skull, I left it there. To heavy to pack out.

Very neat pic!You wouldnt want to get caught packing it around anyways, the only thing you can remove is the fossils of non skeletal critters like bacolites, amonites, ect. If you get caught with buffalo or dinasaur bone on MT public lands you are in aheap of $%@! 10sign:
