Thanks for the link, some real interesting data there. Some of it surprises me for sure. Increase in Paunsaugunt tags, yet decrease in Pauns management tags. Seems odd to me. Anyway I enjoyed the info a lot.

Yeah I am glad that I switched my choice on my mt. goat hunt.
I was putting in for the Timpanogos unit and they cut a bunch of the tags there. Not that I really have a chance at drawing but it's fun to have a little more hope.

Is it that they are struggling, or are the trying to get other herds established? If i remember right they have been transplanting quite a few in the past year.
I hope its not because they are struggling. They are one animal I want to hunt in my lifetime

Not sure 9er, but to be a hit in the number tags that big shows more than just re-establishing or transplanting herds. I could be wrong though.

Re: utah draw
Utah:
CWMU buck deer
Current Creek Muzzy
Beaver Goat
Oregon:
Rifle elk,
Deer points
Antelope points
John Day Sheep
Mt Goat
Nevada:
Late rifle buck
Antelope buck
Rifle bull elk.
Wyoming:
Deer points
Antelope points
Elk points
I expect to end up with a Utah muzzy deer tag and an Oregon elk tag out of the draws. Anything else would be awesome. I will also buy an OTC deer tag in Idaho. Good luck to everyone in the draws. We will know soon.------SS
