My Pahvant archery elk hunt. 2015
My Pahvant archery elk hunt. 2015
I figured that I would start a thread about my elk hunt this year.
It all started with this little tid bit. I couldn't believe how lucky I was It never really seems to sink in until you get to put the hard copy shows up. Luckily my brother lives in the area and has had his trail cameras out over the years.
Some pictures of the better bulls.
Just hoping that we can find one of this caliber in about three weeks.
Enjoy.

Since I found out that it was indeed my archery tag I have been putting plenty of practice.
40 yards. 50 yards. Have even pulled off a couple of Robin Hoods at 50 yards no less.

After a change of plan I had an opportunity to run down last week and check the cameras.
Hiking up out of the low lands. And up into elk country. To one of the springs that we are watching. As time goes by there are more and better sized elk showing up.
Just over nine more days.
Enjoy.
