Shown here in rapid succession are seven shots taken at different woodchucks by Dennis Potvin during the summer of 2008 and spring of 2009. Shots ranged anywhere from 60 yards to 295 yards out and were taken with Potvin’s own Remington 700 rifles in calibers .223 and 22-250. The ammo employed for all the shots were his own reloads using 55 gr. varmint bullets.  You will see in the footage of the more distant shots how the video camera is able to pick up the shock waves and vapor trails of the bullets as they fly through the air. Â
